The Seaglass was designed by architect and co-owner Charles Taylor. It is situated on a high point originally serving as Ballito's first water reservoir. Charles and his wife Jacque worked together to create an urban escape in the middle of the rapidly expanding coastal town of Ballito. We are home to beautiful birdlife, some very entertaining monkeys and two friendly cats.
Our Space
We chose our name The Seaglass because of the connection we have created to the sea and surrounds through the glass utilised in our home.
Our collection of sea-washed glass pieces can be seen in various arrangements around the home and they remind us that the more exposed natural elements are to nature the more beautiful they become.
Together we have created a space where you can escape the world and enjoy the very best Ballito and nature has to offer you.

Amazing property, so stunning - the photos really don't do it justice. The architecture is incredible - every room is surrounded by glass and filled with natural light. The infinity pool is incredible. Charles and his wife Jackie are extremely welcoming hosts. Beautiful house with stunning views and great hosts
The place was designed by one of the owners. He has a “3 glass wall” principle for every room in the main house. That means that you have views EVERYWHERE you look. The house is absolutely stunning. The hosts are also amazing. We opted not to rent a car and they assisted us with getting goods from the stores and made local recommendations. The breakfasts were also absolutely delicious....
